Accepted!

Ian and I received the good news, about two weeks ago, that we were accepted to Southern Baptist Theological Seminary!

This will be Ian's second master's degree, and my first!

We found out that we got in, but since our admittance was contingent on our starting with The Company, we were concerned that we would have to postpone our taking of classes. Also, because we are with The Company, we get 75 percent off of the tuition, but in the mix up of our job getting postponed, they weren't giving us the full discount, so one class was going to cost me $905!

We got it all straightened out though, and the people at SBTS have been absolutely wonderful to work with!

Our program is designed specifically for The Company, and will allow us to do half of our credit hours online, and the other half will have to be on campus in Kentucky at some point.

We start our first two classes next Monday, (we are taking the same classes,) and have ordered our required books for them already.

I have spent a bunch of time over the past week or so, getting used to their website, ecampus, and Moodle, the online learning site.

Most of my lectures will be streamed over the Internet, and then we have all of our assignments to turn in. I am so excited to be getting back into the swing of school, learning, and reading!

CONGRATS! So are you classes all online? Or will you actually be on the campus? My boyfriend, Michael is a student at Boyce College which is part of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville Kentucky!!!! :)

Congrats again!
